Bio:
I was born in Jamshedpur, India in 1982, completed my primary schooling in New Delhi. In 1991, we moved to Aurangabad, from where I completed my B.Arch with distinction (honors) in 2004. I developed a passion for 3D when I was studying architecture. I started using 3D as a design tool, to study the effects of light and shadow on different forms, to study how different texture and finishes can change entirely the look and style of design. By the time I completed architecture, I was so interested in visualization that I decided to pursue my career in it. Since then, I've been in Pune working in the Indian Visualization industry and doing freelancing projects when I get time for both Indian and foreign clients.

Last year, I won the Architectural Wonder-II contest on 3DAllusions. This was my first major achievement in the field and will always remain the most special project for me. Due to this project, I got to meet so many people around the globe some of whom are good friends now, and I became a part of the 3D Allusions community which has become my online home. I am now a moderator on 3DAllusions where I get to learn and interact with a wonderful international community of passionate CG artists like myself. I also received an honorable mention for the Finding Shore contest on Vizdepot last year. This year, I was amongst the Architectural Visualization Competition (AVC 2007) finalists. It was a great experience participating with many great artists from the field on a major platform like AVC. Working on all these personal projects has helped me a lot to explore my creativity and develop the artist in myself.

In 3D, I really enjoy working on lighting. I like to create moody environments as you will see in many of my personal projects. I find photographs showing interesting shades, shadows & lights very inspiring. I like to collect such photographs and enjoy recreating some of them in CG when I feel like experimenting. I find it a good challenge that helps to enhance both your creative & technical skills. I participate in various CG forums where I get to communicate with people all around the globe, its a great way of sharing knowledge and expanding your creative horizons.

Apart from CG, I am very passionate about traveling, especially to places of historical relevance. I like to study and collect articles on ancient civilizations. When I am at home, and not doing 3D or sleeping, you will find me playing computer games. The AOE series, Warcraft III, Ceasar III, Diablo II are some of my favorites. I love listening to music. I just can't work without music, so its always playing at my office and home. I like learning and exploring new things whether it is a new software or technology, or simply trying out a new cuisine in an unknown restaurant. I believe life is a journey where you go through ups, downs, highs & lows...each step taken is a new experience. To make this journey a success, we should learn from the lows, cherish all the good moments, grow as a person with each passing moment & always keep moving ahead.
