Not denying Zappa was a genius, just don't like jazz for the most part and hate "avant garde" jazz for sure. Stems from having a jazz musician for a father and the damn stuff blaring all hours of the night (musicians don't get up until 3:00 PM you know). Just a personal dislike, hence I quit following you when you crossed that line! LOL

AC|DC Back in Black! one of the greatest of all times, I actually think the AC|DC live album that is much more current is probably the best of all time for them. Funny, first time I heard them or ZZ Top, I didn't like, but that changed quickly, so I actually don't judge something tell I try to give it a chance or have listen to it a few times (Yes I worked for an architect right out of school who was a huge Frank Zappa fan and had every legal and bootlegged copy of Zappa albums obtainable and played them constantly, so yes, I have given them a chance)

The thing is, there is so much good stuff and genre's that I can't think of the best, I could argue that Beattle's white album is it and many would agree, I could say Foreigner's Foreigner 4 is the best and not as many would agree with me, but for it's time it was a hell of an album, doesn't really matter it is how the music affects you, so if Zappa gets your adrenlin running fantastic, I am just not into the intellectual sounds of experimental jazz and more into the garage band sound that gets my blood pumping
