Two ani's used in TV commercials

Haven't posted in eons it feels like....so here's some work I wrapped up recently. Done for TV2 in Denmark. I did the CG animations...Kenneth Bonde/TV2 did the comp, audio and editing

Luxury Apartment fly through

www.wdadesign.com/essex_condo.mov

or

www.wdadesign.com/essex_condo.mpeg

Potato chip bag animation...and yes the background is kind of cheesy, lol nobody but the client seemed to have any control....but it works and serves thier needs

www.wdadesign.com/chips.mpg

Fun stuff...first real production work using C4D...though just about everything was modeled in Modo. Used pose mixer (morph targeting) of target geometry created in Modo also UV mapped there too. Poor old 3dMax hasn't been opened in about 3 months, time to get re-aquianted LOL

Give me feedback...be gentle on the render quality of the flythrough, ended up with 2 days to render the animation, was planning on three and wanted 4, hehe but that's nothing new

Cheers

Re: Two ani's used in TV commercials

WOW, that is some nice work WDA, glad to see you really progressing as an artist, animations are tough, advertising is a very interesting niche.

Architectural: Nice fly-thru, the zooming in from orbit to project was perhaps a little fast, but I understand it wasn't the focus of the project. The level of detail was on the objects that were important, the lawn mower man was great as were the interiors. Some better cars etc. and it would have been over the top. Still very nice work, professional and fast paced, great job.

Commercial: It was real a short piece, nothing wrong with that, and I don't speak the language on either of these so I miss out a little. I guess the bag being cropped at the beginning jumped out at me, I know you wanted a close up for marketing and understand why it was done. Yes the background was too blurry, a tad more crispness would have been perhaps better, but the strengths of it tha way were that it didn't detract from the product and the color pallet worked real well with all the graphics. Once again, nice work and thanks for sharing with us.
