Splash page for the punters

This animation is about half finished - I'll post the final version when I've completed it.

The idea of this animation is that it will be part of the splash-page on my new website (which isn't posted yet) and is designed for low-cost clients who don't really have any idea why they'd buy into architectural viz, and why not rely on just the flat plans. So here, I'm basically talking some estate agents, rennovators and self-builders - not larger constructors who are familiar with it's merits.

This is just the internal Blender renderer - I have not even bothered with Yafray or an external renderer.

Phase 1 (attached) is taking an empty box and gradually making it into a basic, empty room as you'd expect in any conventionally designed house in the UK. I'll probably be prefixing this animation with a flat plan on the floor.

Phase 2 (in progress) is now taking that conventional room and applying some interior design to finally end with a high-quality animation with the camera panning across maybe 45' and environmental movment like curtains under softbody cloth simulation.

What do you guys think - not just of the animation, but also of the concept?

(note: 370kb zip of a 408kb XVid encoded AVI)
