Thanks for the welcome!
Yes, I really am interested in building up the CAD section of these forums as well. While my own specialty are the Autodesk products, I'm also interested in how others use their own tools ranging from ArchiCAD to Sketchup and Microstation to VectorWorks. While the Visualization part is important, I sometimes feel the photorealistic stuff is a bit over-rated for what our clients are looking for in the early stages and even later stages of the design process. Even with that being said, I'm currently learning how to use VIZ to produce the photo realistic stuff along with a program I became an expert in many years ago, Adobe Photoshop. I'm actually already better than when I submitted my work in the "bridge" challenge, but I still have a lot more learning before I get as good as the others here on the finer points... and I may never get quite that good! (Heck, I still find myself scratching my head about proper interior lighting from time to time, it's still a level of trial and error and not quite instinctive.)
My ultimate professional interest is process management and maximizing the efficiency for which architectural/engineering firms can utilize, organize, and standardize their digital assets. (Yep, all the words that end in "ize".

) Over the next year I'll be doing just that as a process advisor/technical consultant for firms in (USA) St Louis, Kansas City, Memphis, Chicago, New York, and Austin... just to name the places I know about. It's going to be a busy year!!!!
Thanks again for welcoming me in and I want to welcome everyone to keep posting your work and to participate in our community. We can all learn and get better by discussing our work with each other!
