Thanks Fietter! Glad you liked it. Well Spain was alright - La Courna beautiful and Madrid just ok. Two different cities, like night and day to me.
Definetaly will be going to La Coruna once more. I think Im going to start learning a little bit of Spanish. Who know maybe it will come in handy one day

Those types of memories really do sick eh horhe? I was being recruited by a college football team, I had an assitant coach offer to fly me around, my first flight in a single engine small plane, the SOB proceeded to do a stall. Ever since that day I fly only in extreme protest mode... Give me the controlls and I'll be ok....
Yep I hear ya. Its hard be able just to let someone be responsible for your life if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I played middle linebacker for VPI, and wrestled at light heavyweight 191 lbs till i broke my neck wrestling..
Cool on the sports, sorry about the neck, bringing my knee cap around to the back side of my leg ended my football and wrestling my senior year in High school. Cool that you got to continue on to college with it even if it ended sadly. Cool info to know

yeah, as bad as a bad flight, it ended my career, not me life <g> Hey it was really good for me, forever I'd been considered the dumb jock. I had to learn to use my head and not my back. One of these days I might be able to shake the dumb part hehehe, my wife would argue the point LOL.
Rod,
I was one of those dummies that cut 40 pounds every wrestling season, down from 175 to my wrestling weight of 135, I weigh about a hundred more pounds now. I am only 5-10, but that is still way to thin, during the week I lived off of two oranges a day for the most part to cut through the cotton mouth in the morning and before bed. Then weigh ins Friday after school (match later that night) and then you try to eat, but an orange would fill me up and by Sunday you were eating good only to start all over again on Monday.
Like you I was considered a Jock, but I actually got all sorts of academic awards and any time I got one or my scholorships people always thought they were for sports. Had six good varsity years and at a summer wrestling camp just before two a days start a bad take down blew out my knee and brought the knee cap all the way around to the back side. Our heavyweight threw up when he saw it! LOL Needless to say it still gives me problems and I believe I screwed up my metabolism cutting 40 lbs every year when I was in good shape to begin with, but we are foolish in our youth!
In college our architecture class put together a flag football team and we made it to the semi-finals and got to play in the stadium at WSU, so I got a taste of what it must have been like to play college ball, it was awesome

I know the plastic workout suits, saunas, xlax, water pills, and citrus diet very well, my playing weight for football was right at 240 after the season long weight training and training table. Carbs out the butt, no, carbs stuck on the butt hehehe. Fall sport, then 191 in about 6 weeks winter sports. When my neck went out i puked, the heavyweight guy didn't LOL. Did a roll counter of a cross body ride and my head got stuck, the other guy and the rest of me didn't.
I saw a guy with a dislocated fracture elbow that was about as gross as I've seen, kinda like Theisman with the redskins.
I'm surprised you haven't had a knee replacement yet. Good luck that, you dont, that zipper along with your ugly toe nails, it would be just toooooo much
A stadium full of people is an awesome sight, our stadium held about 20,000 and was always at overflow level.

Yes, your injury beats mine by a mile, I have been fortunate and don't have back problems, a herniated disk once made me realize how much that could suck, so I count my blessings. Seeing that ours and a lot of americans past are so similar, I wonder what junior high and high school is like for all our international members, do they have a lot of sports in school?
