New Gallery Submission Policy!

In an effort to maintain quality artwork and conserve server space we have instituted a new Gallery/Album approval policy. The artwork so far is really good and up to recently our members have been selectively invited. Now that we are getting some exposure we feel that we may get flodded with gallery entries and thought we would take this pre-emptive precaution to maintain the highstandards we hope to maintain.
Upon Gallery/Album submittal a panel will approve of the entry prior to it being placed in the Gallery/Album for viewing by the public (I believe this is how it works, bare with us as we implement the system). This will require no additional effort on your part, the image just will not display until approval.

We do not want to discourage people from submitting work, we just want to make sure that being in our Gallery/Album means something special. Hopefully we will not be turning down any entries. We will be as prompt as possible in our review and getting your work displayed to the public as soon as possible. We hope that this will make getting your work in our galleries seem more beneficial and something that is an accomplishment. We also want viewers to be impressed and your exposure to be in the most positive light.

Feel free to give your suggestions or complaints about this or any other issue at the site. Thank you for your understanding. This is something we are trying out to see how it works.

There has been a trend lately of people submitting to the gallery for the sole purpose of advertising. We encourage tasteful watermarks or logos to protect the artist work. We do not support big red web addresses across the images, or URL's all over the subject or description. We have made locations for that sort of information in your profile and signature, we do not need to see it everywhere else. It is also amusing when people submit images with the Vray frame buffer info at the bottom, the gallery is for finished work, clean it up.

I dislike having to deny entries into the gallery, but there seems to be a trend where people think they can SPAM at the sake of the art/images, this is a whole community of archvis professionals, we would hire our selves if work came around, we come here to hone our craft, not watch a bunch of commercials.

So be warned, you could submit the greatest image the world has ever seen, but if you have your URL pasted across the image in big red Time Romans font, you are wasting your time, we won't put it up. If you have a logo in keeping with the industry standard of practice, we will gladly put up your image if the image quality meets the requirements, that logo can have your URL in it, we just don't want a giant ADD!
