Great News - 'Links Page' Feature Added

Good news for those who like shameless plugs, we have added a links page/MOD for our users, it is located in the portals left side ‘Board Navigation’ menu right under the ‘Members List’. This will allow you to link your site in the “Members Sites” category (We have placed it on top and it is the default list that comes up,) of the links page in order to obtain more exposure. What is cool about this MOD, is that it allows you to create your own personal links. If you see a link you like, there is a little arrow that allows you to add it to your personal links page. In addition you can just enter your own links with the interface and a checkbox system. So check it out and get yours in there for others to see.

Linking is one way to get better rankings in search engines, with that in mind, we ask that in return you link us at your site if you have one. We will put transparent GIF image in the ‘General Discussion’ forum for your use, if you use an image linking system. If you only use text links such as our links page, that is just fine, we are trying to get more exposure.

The links page has several categories to help organize and present useful sites and resources. The links page is slowly being filled with links posted in the forums for a one-stop resource collection. Feel free to add useful/informative sites relating to professional illustration and computer graphics.

Last week was a great week, CGchannel gave us a front-page link in their ‘News’ category and we received a lot of hits. We wanted to allow our members a chance to capitalize on the exposure so we created the links page. Thanks to all of you who stopped by and added some more work or commented on others post. We will continue in our effort to obtain more exposure, feel free to make suggestions in this or any other matter.

It appears that this feature wasn't working in the SubBlack them I believe, Obi has fixed it and it should now be working in both themes. If anyone discovers a problem with the site or a feature not working, please notify us of the problem so that we may fix the problem. Sometimes when adding MOD's it appears we may miss something once in a while. Thanks hope you get your personal sites up there for all to see and check out.

I see so somethings work in Sub and some in Stars, I'll will have to keep a good eye out.

I always use the Solaris theme, it is my baby which I customized a lot, hence I have failed in thouroughly checking out the subBlack theme, and both of them as guest.

It is a shame to see the subBlack go, but if it has to go, then it has to..

FIXED!! Link does now work in both themes again. Now you are able to see the categories at the right side where the check boxes are...
