From the past

Hey everybody,

I had one of those extremely rare slow days at work so I used that time to dig up a project from the past that needed some serious "tweeking". I'm getting closer to what I would like it to look like but would like to have an opinion from a fresh pair of eyes.

Thanks,

Gerald

Re: From the past

To me it looks a little flat, as if the ambient light is turned up high or something. That is the main thing that jumps out at me.

Re: From the past

Russel & Leon,

Thanks for the input. Here's another image after I cranked the lights down a bit and added a little color to the light so it wouldn't be so "white". I checked and the antialiasing button is checked on the render command. Any more additional comments are always welcome.

Thanks again,

Gerald

Re: From the past

Gerald, what Russell (TheAllusionist) meant to say was that the overall level of ambient lighting is high. So changing the intensity or color of the lights won't help much. What you need to do is to decrease the ambient lighting. Also, you'll need to increase the anti-allaising here, the edges still look very jaggered.
