Hi everyone...
Thaught I put this screenshots up before I get to the rendering stage... may be interesting for you to take a peak into this stage of project, since I put up pretty detailed work on modeling and should get enough time to make decent job on rendering afterwards...
There will be 3 exterior shots and possibly one interior VR...
Re: BMW and Mini center - showroom and service WIP-s
Here is small update on the service part of the building... metal cladding and window details...
I think it may be a good example on advantages of poly modeling in architecture over standard cad modeling...
You can go to the details rather fast, get high level of detail in modeling and still keep the file size within 10 Mb, before introducing high poly entourage, such as cars or something like that...

Re: BMW and Mini center - showroom and service WIP-s
Ok, after some delay, finally step into the rendering stage...
So here are couple of wips... I tried with background image and with modeled background buildings... background image had a different light which would not be good for main object, so I decided to make the background buildings as well...
Entourage should be better in finals of course... I put there what I could asemble fast and make fast renders with...
High poly cars seam to often crash Vray... so I avoid usually...
Re: BMW and Mini center - showroom and service WIP-s
Very cool as usual. I would say the parking lot texture could use some work and construction wise I am not certain a ribbed or standing seam metal roof could be applied to such a shallow slope.
Well I had to make some comments, but it is looking really good, I really like your grass, I imagine post work is involved with it, but it looks very nice. Some really nice modeling detail as well, I really like it.

Re: BMW and Mini center - showroom and service WIP-s
Well, I have now some nice parking lot textures, but this is not texture, it is modeled...
As for the roof, I am not so sure either, but that is not my project, I made it to look good, and perhaps I made a bit stronger ribs...
I am a bit tired of this project really... it is like fifth version of the building and final I think, building is already in the construction... and my work around this took too long already... if you understand what I mean... sometimes you can not finish something as good as you planned... simply cause it dragged on and on for too long and you just want to move on to something else...
Re: BMW and Mini center - showroom and service WIP-s
I fully understand, I just try to throw a bit in once in a while about constructibility since I have had to do the hideious construction administration side of architecture as well. Looks good, just providing some comments besides, ooooohhhhh AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!
