This is orthopedic and sports medicine/office building that I am working on and was hoping to get some C&C on it at this early stage. Still lots of plants are going in and I still need some "life" I think.....
OK, I am going to be quick, so don't take comments as rude, I just have time constraints. Ground items all are the major things that need TLC. Some design elements are a bit heavy handed and not consistant. Fascia/rake and parking stripes are very wide. Left side in shade seems not quite right, are you using global illumination? Sky seems overscaled and washed out.
It is looking good and the grass and asphalt are the two items that I think really need addresssed the other items are tweaks, I just mention the thinkness/proportions of fascia/rake and parking stripes because proportions make or break and image IMHO. The building and landscaping is working well, is is really sky and ground that strongly jump out at me. Good work and thanks for sharing.

Russell, as astute as your observations are I would never think of any of your comments as being rude. Thanks for your comments. I am incorporating them as this image develops. I am using GI, IM and Brute Force. I too am curious as to the shadows on the left side and as of yet I have not found the solution. There is no light source on that side, just an omni providing light only on my dome and vray sun. The material is just a simple stucco with only a bump map.
Question, the lines you pointed out near the center of the image are to represent a bus pulloff, ie no parking. Would it be your experience when you have items like that that you take "artistic liscense" and just ignore them?
here is an update. I will need to dirty up the asphalt yet, fix more of the grass etc.
Horhe, yeah it is a RPC. she's added only for scale and will be changed. I'm in the market for both some good people and good cars, just can't decide on the brand name LOL.
looks good Rod. i notice that the direction of the shadows on the ground don't seem to match the sun in the sky. also, the tops of the lamp posts look funky and how about a little reflection to the windows? just my quick 2 cents worth.
Thanks Gebo. still a ways to go. I'd like to flush it out but it'll have to wait till after my meeting. Only had 2 days to put this together from design to rendering, and that was a very fast 2 days

Much much better in my opinion. It looks like a late afternoon shot to me with the lighting and I would definitely look into changing the sky in post production. In case you didn't know, on our main site in the resources there is a collection of 75 or so high resolution sky background textures that Paulo Barrelas took and hand corrected and enhanced in PS, all there for our members for FREE! FYI.
Comming along nicely. Sorry I have been swamped with stuff and haven't really been able to partake in the forum except to get the last challenge winners up.
Keep it up buddy!
Russell

Second shot is looking good. You need to watch out on repetition of stone texture... there are some free samples that are very good at arroway textures and ambient light... seamless and no repeating...
The sky is still not going with the image so good... Try to set the sky as gradient in postwork, so the bottom is lighter, yelowish... than overlay that over sky photo... also there are some nice free samples around, like Russell pointed out... Look for one appropriate to your image and with lower part that is going down to horizon... cause that is visible in your shot...
Grass in foreground is to be tweaked yet, but you could add some bushes or something, add it in postwork, do not lose time to tweak it in render...
also some foreground trees/branches may be nice to frame the view...
Also, compared to the house, some trees are quite small, but they do not look like real small architectural trees... so watch out for that also... The height of such trees is normally from 7 to 12 meters... so most of them should be as high as a house itself...
Visit ambienlight.co.uk for great free samples and also afordable packs of textures/plants...
Good stuff also at Marlin studios, Got 3d and so on...
