I'm working on an ADA compliant house. Some of the features; the ramp is in the garage. Done to disquise the purpose of the house. The turret was in progress when I saw Neellss post Sylvia's house and got a lot of inspiration from that image. Yes it is a 2 story turrett, partial floor. There will be an elevator for access to this the library. Rear view comming. C&C please.
Looks good my friend. The seams on the left side of both the garage and turret roofs are what stand out at first. The slab in the middle, attached to the stairs, just looks gray with no material. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of the garage door but if that's what it should be then I would make the map just a hair larger to get rid of that narrow section of panels at the very top of the door. Maybe sink the driveway to below the top of the grass. I think the sidewalk is fine where it is but maybe some control joints in the walk and dirveway if it's concrete. Did I just go to far? Looks great though , nice work. It may be worth mentioning one last thing if it helps, my eyes seem to be drawn to the corners of the stone walls on the turret...
Nice work. Beautiful modeling and I like the lighting too. I think the stone texture looks very big and it seems you tried to tweak something in PS with the main roof, But it looks unfinished. May be you can use different sky

Hey nice one.
Just few crits - adjust the camer - add camera correction modifier to adjust the distortion.
Im not sure about the size of the rock texture, if it shoud not be smaller.
Add some fallof refl. on the roof.
Get some displ on grass. Or ps it.
It is looking good Rod, I agree with the other comments and would add that a metal standing seam roof looks a bit off to me on a traditional type house, but I understand it is practical in your neck of the woods. What I would suggest is decreasing the size of the metal roof, if it is 24" OC then go down to 16" OC and reduce the scale of the EIFS siding bump map these items give it a bit of a model look, sort of like a toy slighting because with the other overscaled items, the building doesn't feel full scale. Great Ivy!

Overall very nice rendering, a bit overly saturated but nice.
Design is not my cup of tee, but I would comment on couple of things other than those already mentioned.
- left side of the house with terrace - adjust the height of the base trim and terrace or get the base all around it and over terrace part as well... now it looks like terrace is added afterwards...
- Add some sort of frame around the garage doors and base trim profile to match the overall style of the house
This is the interior of the turret area, C&C please? I'd like to make the corrections to the exterior and what you find here this weekend. Thanks for your time.
Some neat stuff going on there, I think some items such as stairs are to shiny, but I like the space. You go BOY! In actuality, over the relitively short period of time that I have known you, you have improved dramatically, you keep getting better, it is fun to watch.
