Golfer test

Too early for detail, but, this time I try my hand at a golf course. Why nobody do one on forum yet ? This is still test but soon I wil add it to my general project. Max, Vray and Displacement.

Hey nice work!! I like the grass.

You could work more on the sand, especially the edge where sand meets grass. Also, the person looks a bit out of place, perhaps you could find/create a better image for it?

I think Neha had good comments, look forward to seeing it after it is refined.

Re: Golfer test

nice work on this one. I think there should be a variation on the grass though. there should be a rough and a very fine one. good luck on this.

Re: Golfer test

I know the building probably will never work, but this is what the client wanted too see. For me it's unlikely but maybe possible with much money. Regardless I try to make nice image.

Re: Golfer test

Hey mellowfellon, looking nice, there are some scale issues, tiny green and flag. looks to be only a few meters compaired to the peeps. There is also typically "frog hair" around the sand trap, looks a bit to much like a bowl now. overhanging grass, crumbling edges of the trap, would help. Most sand traps have rake marks in them. Try adding a few it'd kick up the realism IMHO.

Re: Golfer test

Some cool stuff, but the rendering is really of a golf course and the house is part of the background the way you have it set up IMHO

Rod: yes scale is incorrect. Thanks for advise.

Yep or work on contrast so house is strongly visible.
