Hello everyone. I am new to this forum, but not new to the scene. I am posting a few images from Viz 2005 that I did of an interior of a minmalist space. I tried recreating an image came from a book I have. Any comments would be useful. Please excuse the low quality images, I rendered at a low resolution.
This is Viz 2005 radiosity.
Meshing is between 12 to 2 inches.
Refinments are between 10 and 100.
Filtering is set to 1.
I am not using regathering yet.
Daylight system for lighting.
Hi CivicDuty...nice to meet you here.
To post any image you may click on the "Add an Attachment" key when you do a post reply, then appears to you the filename tab where you could keep a file from your computer. It's more simple to do , LOL
Can wait to see your work: good luck!

CivicDuty,
Welcome! It looks like Speedy has beat me to the punch, here is a second description of how to post an image.
You can't post images using this 'Quick Reply' box, you need to select the 'Post Reply' button on the top left and bottom left of screen. That will bring you to the normal post dialogue screen, from here you can use more options. To post an image you basically have two options.
Option 1: Paste the actual link of where the image file is on the internet, then highlight that text and select the 'Img' button just below the 'Subject' entry box.
Option 2: Select the button 'Add an Attachment' right above the 'Preview' and 'Submit buttons. Then use the attachment option to upload an image directly from your computer. Image should be 800x600 max saved at medium quality to perserve server space.

Hmm. still can't post image. I did what you said to do but no luck. I get the browse option, select the image from my computer, and hit attach. Then I hit submit, and nothing. I guess I will post on ftp site. Here is the link.
Use the edit function on your post to look at what I did, you where missing the name of the image file in your link. Let me know if you still have problems, we recently were hacked and some features may be acting up. We are doing what we can to get the forums to work right again, if something is broken we want to know about it. I have attached images without a problem, but administrative rights may be the reason. Try again if you want and let me know any error messages that pop up.
Images look good, is the floor floating on something?

Well, I tried everything, but no success. I don't see the posted attachments of images that I already posted. It no problem. I will just leave the link to my ftp site up so people can look. Thanks for the help and sorry to be so much trouble. I really like the 3dallusions community and hope that I can learn and help as much as I do at cgarchitect.com.
The floor is actually a paneling that attaches to the floor below it.. What you are seeing is the reflection from the floor beneath.
I will look into the matter when I have a little more time. Are these images the ones you cannot attach here? I ask so that I can try to duplicate the problem. I look forward to seeing more of your work. We can always use more active members. Welcome Aboard!
P.S. You can see that I have your images showing above right? Your post made it seem like you didn't see that I have three of your images showing above. And you aren't any trouble, we want to know if there are problems or need to explain the process better.
