furniture showroom exterior

This was done in day and a bit while outside was apocaliptic 47 degrees in the shade...
I had to make it fast, as always I started nice, but in the end I had to rush... no time for test renders...

EDIT: Removed missing attachments. Neha

For me I know the person has done a good job if my first reaction is "Wow, I wish I had done that... I need to try something like it.". Now I'm wishing I had the time to do 3D work today!

Very good job!

Hey Branko, very nice work buddy. I love the modeling. lighting and rendering also looks realistic. Nice tonal variation in the 2nd picture. Only thing I can say, the tree textures looks bit blurish.

Re: furniture showroom exterior

As usual very nice work. Something is bothering me about the first image, not certain exactly, kind of like it looks like a photomontage peice (could just be the strong tinge in the glass throwing me off as well, but some glass does have a lot of green, so I can't put my finger on it)? Also the sidewalk that becomes a ramp up into the store runs under the first floor overhang on the right. Of course I realize this is probably a design intent out of your hands, it is just what jumps out at me.

That all said, the detailing like the reveals in the metal clad siding and just the curved forms of the building is terrific and quite impressive. As usual I am tough on my critiques of your work since you are so good

Re: furniture showroom exterior

Thanks guys... glad you like them...
Ok, here is in short how this was done -
I started one day to model shell of the main building. I started easy and carefull cause I thaugth I will have enough time... I did the metal claddin all in modeling... this was tough but payed off... It take me about 5 hours to make it with all the wholes and cuts, circular cuts in the cieling and so on... All is done as editable poly with a little help of booleen and spline of course...
Than the second day turned out that I have about 9 hours to finish everything else, finish modeling, put the furniture, make the site around the building... including 4 renders, postwork (that is why it lookes a bit sloppy...)
Uh... and I was really looking forward to do something nice and proper till the end...
