A Study Series 3 (IN SILENCE)

Another render still part of the A Study Series. This time I did an artshot kind of render. I modeled everything, from the panel door, to the wooden chair. Plus a little practice in advanced photoshop editing.

I used reinhard color mapping for this image. Modeled in 3dsMAX8, Vray 1.5rc3 for the rendering engine, and Photoshop CS2 for post editing.

Comments are highly appreciated. Hope you all like it.

Thanks!

Re: A Study Series 3 (IN SILENCE)

Looking good, I just think the bump mapping on the walls is way over scaled. Nice work, kind of lonely.

Re: A Study Series 3 (IN SILENCE)

Thanks for all the comments. I really had a hard time with the bump mapping of the scene, because everytime i set my material to show on the viewport, 3ds MAX 8 would suddenly crash.

I am glad everyone liked it.

Simple and elegant!! I love it. The map on the wall does look overscaled.

Re: A Study Series 3 (IN SILENCE)

Nice image. One comment - the volume light is a bit too much here. Could use a little hint of noise and have more opacity.

Re: A Study Series 3 (IN SILENCE)

Thanks for the comment horhe....noted...it's my first time to added volume light using photoshop, so i was just guessing on the filters and opacity values.
