Architectural Renderings - Architectural Visualization Showcase2D and 3D architectural visualizations. FINAL
Just thought I would drop you a line and let you know that Pixel Focus has a new website and in the flythroughs section you can view the rivershores project, of which I posted the stills recently. You can also view our showreel, stills and a bunch of other flythroughs.
Please give me your opinions or comments on the website or any of it's contents.
All comments welcome as usual.
Please feel free to move this post if it's in the wrong place Russell.
Re: Rivershores flythrough and Pixel Focus Website
Hey buddy, Ok to post here, I didn't watch the animations yet, but the stills have some nice work, I think some of the imagery needs some background work, especially when some of the images really rely on the background. Good stuff!

Re: Rivershores flythrough and Pixel Focus Website
Nice Flythrough/Walkthrough. Works are really great. Great ambiances with characters. Few angles and shots are brillient.
If you dont mind - In the animation projects which rendering engine do you use? Is is Scanline or Mr or VRay and how long it takes to render per frame?

Re: Rivershores flythrough and Pixel Focus Website
Thanks Russell and Neil
Animation is our major focus, we don't do much still work, they are usually a byproduct of the animation. We always use Vray both for stills and animation and render times vary quite alot. The scene with the stone wall was very difficult to render due to all the displacement, we have dual quad core render nodes with 8 gig of ram and they were still taking 40 minutes per frame on that one but usually our frame times sit between 10-20 minutes.
Re: Rivershores flythrough and Pixel Focus Website
I had a chance to watch the animations and they are very nice, much more impressive than just the stills IMHO, but then when you explained that the stills were biroducts of animations, it made sense. Great work!
