AndrewMoore-Art Deco mixed use condo-Tribute to Fritz Lang
Alright, I have decided to make a massive Art Deco Structure that will have a very Metropolis feel to it. I shall use materials from today to construct this idea from the past. I hope it will turn out larger then life. It will be mixed use, mostly residential with some entertainment at street level.
I hope I can capture the the look of what Fritz Lang accomplished so long ago. I will post my sketches A.S.A.P if you can call them that. Drawing is not my forte.

Andrew,
You have created a thread with the correct naming convention  Now all you need is to submit a concept sketch. In addition we need to know what the habitable use of the structure is, Place of worship or mixed use? Secondly check out the latest announcement in this thread about contest deadlines. We are happy to have you onboard and look forward to seeing your concept and its progress.

Sweet, thanks alot! that is great news. This will give me more then enough time. I will narrow down my ideas and reply later with a more accurate discription of what I intend on designing.

Totally dark. Very futuristic, and very massive. I will have some spare time on the weekend and I will do some sketches before I get going on this.
Q"Why Art Deco?" A- Because it is my favorite architectural style.

When you say Fritz Lang and Metropolis, are you basing your design on the old movie "Metropolis"? Just curious, actually a pretty cool source to extract from.
