"Architectural Wonder" Contest Entry Closed!

Due to request by contestants and potential contestants to have the allotted time allowed to complete this contest exercise extended, we are extending the final date for final entries by one month, but keeping the existing deadline as the final entry deadline. This will basically give current entrants an extra month to tweak their entry and those who are working on their initial submission to be incouraged by the fact that they should have enough time to complete an entry.

This issue was brought to my attention earlier and at that time I started the process of contacting judges and all the contestants at that time. The contestants at that time did not have a problem with it, and looked forward to the added time to complete their entry. Here are the revised dates for the Contest:


The contest will last approximately three months, starting August 05, 2004 and ending November 05, 2004 at midnight GMT. All entrants must Enter by October 05, 2004 by posting their first milestone sketch in the forum as outlined by the Contest Rules and Deliverables. Membership ranking of entries shall last for two weeks immediately following the contest deadline and end November 19, 2004 at midnight GMT. Judging to commence immeadiately afterwards, in as reasonable amount of time, as scheduling allows, to give each finalist due consideration.

Architectural Wonder Contest Entry is now closed, entrants that met the deadline have been documented and have until November 5th to complete their submission and enter it in the contest album/gallery and upload a large format image all as per the Contest rules and guidelines. Good luck to all the entrants!

Please remember to use at least three Marlin Studio textures in your final submission and document them in your thread. In addition make sure your entry meets all the milestones required and state each milestone in your post with the corresponding image. Some may need to go back and edit their post to state the milestone and others may need to add one out of phase to insure they meet the contest rules and guidelines.
