Hello to all!

I found out bout this contest and it sent my imagination running wild! So I decided to join.

My entry will be a some kinna fotress surrounding a city which i think is going to be Kuala Lumpur. I dont want to elaborate much on the details coz its about standing at a vantage point lookin at a wonder rite?

So I guess if you know everything there is certainly nothing to wonder about. - Moderators please stop me if im wrong!!

So this is my conceptual sketch that I just finished scanning. And with it my screen grab of the modelling and my lighting scheme.

I think I have a feel of it already. Hmmm...

Welcome to the contest, great start! I really like the curves in the backbone of your structures that the sketch shows, the model so far seems to have straightened them out. They look more elegant to me with the curved spine, but that is just my opinion.

To clarify your entry, it is a fort and hence the occupancy would be a military facility. You have named your thread correctly and have a concept sketch and some modeling so you are well on your way to meeting the milestone requirements. So far so good, nice work and you will definately have scale on your side. Just make sure that the fortress is the dominant structure that the viewer associates as the 'wonder'! Good luck!

I will have get a better dictionary, is "Fotress" a word?, I will have to learn English a little better, I don't know that I have heard the term before?

I think it is 'fortress' not 'fotress' or are those UK English and US English??

Im working on the details now on the tower. Show you guys something later.

By the way.....hafta look around on other contestant!

Just thought I would mention the "Fotress" it is how it is spelled on the sketch and in the narrative, thought I might learn a new word! Keep up the great work!

This is a sketch of the section through the 50km diameter fortress perimeter. Im showing the scale of the towers. Its huge!!

I am programming the towers now.
