a big hey to all of you
by coincidence i landed on this page and now i'm glad to be here, because in oct. i'll beginn to study architecture and this will be a great chance to do something in this direction! i `ve made a concept and a first undetailed render... pls give me some feedback...   forgive my bad english, i come from austria and i 've graduated in french...  ok, good time and good luck davin

nice image. It reminds me of a structure in sweden by Calatrava based on his twisting torso sculptures, maybe that would help with precedent. I like the mood the image creates. The depth achieved with the blur adds a softness to the image. So what is its purpose?

Welcome to the competition, you have followed procedure so far and now all we need to know is the structures purpose/occupancy, it needs to be a habitable space as described in the contest guidelines.

very interesting
This design looks very interesting. Very stylish and elegent. I have a question though, how would people reach the higher floors, where there be an elevator or something else?

I would imagine the central shaft serves as circulation and mechanical distrubution, but that is just my guess. My question as to what purpose it served was abviously made before this last image, it is clearly evident of its purpose.

From an aesthetic point of view I like the asymmetry of the right, but the left would seem to be a more practical and efficient use of the space.
