Not to sure what the second pic is, and the first one doesn't show up for me, but the third I think I understand. That is a lot of curves it will be interesting to what kind of martial surface you will apply. I like the shape though, it reminds me of a pawn chess piece.

tyio,
Welcome to the competition, look forward to seeing more from you. I realize you have had computer problems and are using a 13" monitor right now, I believe, thanks for still participating, glad to have you in the mix. Could you add your real name in front of the 'sky emperor city' (i.e. Russell Thomas - Nexus), so that your entry follows the contest guidline naming convention? Thank you very much.

Interesting form. If its gonna be that curvy in the end...It will be a wonder. But need to be justified by the possible construction method - briefl if not in details - so we all can understand how it will be. I think we all need to do that dont we Allusionist??

Well it has to be buildable with todays building techniques, but I don't think you need to go as far as 'Contimuumx' did in his and model the structure itself! LOL Look at what Frank Ghery is building these days, flowing forms can be achieved. I would say as you develope the concept you keep in mind construction techniques and describe a little bit of it to us. At this phase it is conceptual and I think it is fine, if it was a floating city in the sky I would question constructibility, you know how much engineers hate it when you use 'sky hooks' to support a building! LOL
