triyae is on a distinguished road
abdul aziz - Domestica Mundana

hi
hmm hope im not late
IDEA
prefabricated terrace housing with either portal frames or cantilevered floor spans
my first idea was for a really wide/long portal frame span, but the 'slab' one was a second idea, but the concpet is similar, different type of prefab

generally not sure how far/long the spans can/should be(have to open my ramsey or something) but prolly will wing it for looks
PORTAL
i liked this idea at first because it gave a homogenous look to n houses while still giving each house individual space more so because the heights of the roofs will be different for each house (well not really) since its cantilevered, (actually havent really decided whether its going to be tensile or not)

SLAB
when i think about this i think the floor lengths/widths are going to be bigger as it goes inwards, so land partiitioning could be interesting

i think ill use a residential site near me (or mine even!)

i think its almost kinda like archigrams floating city, (or i cant remember)
i dont really have time to commit to this, (hence the late entry ; p )
im just joining this for play, but hopefully i can finish whatever
very cool to see all the entries of various kinds.....
cheers

Welcome to the contest, nope not too late. Hope you have the time to finish, I think the prizes are pretty cool and a good way to get some exposure. Your entry kind of has an exo-skeleton it appears, this will give you some uniqueness from most. Interesting concept and I look forward to seeing it evolve. Good luck!

triyae, Still not to late if you worked 24/7 Kidding, sorry you didn't have the chance to develope your idea, I think it has some great potential.
