"Architectural Wonder" ContestContest Thread for Contest Entries. Post entries as per Contest Rules Here. Contest closed to further Entries.
this is my submission. my wonder is the broadacre city proposed by frank lloyd wright. my elaboration of it is to render it as a self-sustaining community in the outerspace - like the current ISS (international space station). i have here three sketches and one model wireframe/collage. i will update as i progress.

I hadn't thought of a space station for an architectural wonder, this may be a little controversial? The main obsticle I see offhand is whether it is construcatble by todays technology? Be prepared to defend this concept and perhaps make it an earthbound mega city or some modification if it is decided it can't be done. Nice work though, very interesting.

superbad, I love what you are doing so far, I have already expressed my concerns on its constructability with todays technology and construction techniques and wanted to follow up on it and ask what your thoughts were on it?
When I first saw it I immediately envisioned it in a scene like a lush green valley panning out below this mega city, then I realized it was in space. What I am saying is that this type of technology and hard mechanicalism could look inspiring in contrast to lush green nature. Just an opinion FWIW I think your concept is very interesting.
