Let's see if this feets the contest rules. I'm planning on make a structure that covers a city street. This structure not only covers that street but it allows the street to be under the ground level and it allows the connection between the diferent buildings that compose tha street My main goal here, is not to design the buildings but to focus on that structure that has an aesthetic style that take us to the moods produced by the great gothic cathedrals.
Soon i'll show a concept sketch, do you think that this feets the contest rules?

ha, LOL, nice one allusionist. Sounds like an interesting idea Paulo, I'm not usually one for entering competitions but this one has me intrigued. Be interested to hear more about the concept and what the main purpose of your idea is, ie. what is housed within the structure, is the structure purely for aesthetic purposes or does it facilitate something advantageous?

So here you have the concept sketches. This is only for showing the concept, the project will change along its evolution, for sure!!
This structure is a way to acheave the way this street is built. I like a lot the Gothic style and the way it resolves structure problems and i'm using it here, in my opinion, i think it FEETS the rules, but Russell, you're the man!! LOL

It looks to me to be focussing on one structure that people inhabit/occupy/populate and hence meets the criteria, from your initial verbal description I thought you were doing a regular cityscape, in this case your structure is the cityscape

Paulo, that's nice concept sketch. you are very good at it always. looks very interesting to me, i would like how the structure flows from the sketch to the model. nice start
