Chun Huang - Bay-view Resisdence
Hoy, I just entered and am starting my modeling. Figured I'd get my concept sketch out for feed back. It started off as just the two bridge structures but then i realized that people were supposed to beable to congregate on it... near it... or live in it. So i decided to turn it into a kind of Mid-Bay habbitate.

Love the looseness of the sketches. If you could come up with a project title like 'Suspended Habitat' or whatever you want, we can modify your thread title. In addition if you could attach your progress shots in 800x600 or so jpgs your thread will stay intact even if you take the images off your site, this way future readers still get to see your work
 In advance edit under the text entry box is a button called manage attachments where you can link images. Size is limited to 800x800 maximum I believe, but that is big enough for people to see your work.Excited to see this piece progress, it has lots of potential and nice sketches

I just got home from fishing and was playing with the actual bridge. Now, there are two styles that I’m playing around with. One is of trusses and reflects the design of the Brooklyn Bridge. The other is more contemporary and is taken from the inspirations of the airport on and off ramps of the San Francisco International Airport. I prefer the newer style, because it fits with the almost alien-like Cable anchors (towers). But I’m throwing it out to see if anyone has any new enlightening suggestions
 … also because I feel behind in the WIP’s so I’m filling my pages with constant updates.
