Firstly, as I'm a newbie on here I'll say hellooooo to all you people.

I don't normally enter these competition things but a couple of guys here at work are having a go so i figured 'what the hell' - of course my inherent laziness will no doubt kick in at some point and i'll fall by the wayside, but until then heres a first draft rough sketchy doodle. (its a terrible scan but thats the el cheapo scanner/printer/fax machine combo we've got here at work!!)

anyways, its gonna be a big, spiral themed apartment complex, with some open air plaza areas inside the main curve. it may be in dubai or somewhere though i've not quite decided yet. stuff like this i tend to make up on the fly a bit so materials, landscaping and stuff like that will probably evolve as it goes on.

Nice concept. I like things that are curved, it some how feels completed like a sphere, it has no points but a cubiod has 4 points and somehow has a imcomplete sense about it...hope that makes sense

phew! i thought i'd knock up the basic shape for this pretty quickly but it was actually trickier than i thought getting a smooth curve.
