Architectural Wonder II ContestContest 'Work in Progress' Submissions
I'm also a newbie to this kind of thing, but thought it sounded like fun, so here is my entry/proposal of the Architectural Wonder Contest. My idea, i hope that it fits in with the rules/specs of the competition, is some sort of Pyramid, along the lines of the Japanese Sky City meets Le Corbusier. It is possibly functioning as mass housing, or possibly as a power generator. The setting of this, i am less certain of, maybe metropolis style city, maybe desert... Anyway, it's going to involve pyramids, lots of sharp edges, and lots of lights.
Tom, welcome abroad and I like your concept for the AW-II entry. Show as a concept sketch and we will see how you want to make your structure stand out. Good Luck

Hi everyone, just wanted some feed back about the modelling so far, the idea has evolved a bit, becoming more of a power station than anything else. Going to composite it into a desert scene, improve the lights etc. Just thought id keep you posted about the progress...
Tom, nice updates. We have seen a great number of pyramids... that's exciting, my favorite structure. good luck

It is looking good, I like it. Perhaps the tubes/conduits coming out of the pyramid could pass through some support blocks or something to reduce the electrical conduit look and give it a grander scale. That is about all I see, it looks great!
