Re: first entry

Static,
Give us your full name and Project name (Art Garfunkel - Bridge over troubled water) format example, and submit a sketch of the concept to meet your first milestone requirement, you have about one hour , you can draw it digitally by hand using your mouse or a digitizer tablet, a sketching program or by hand and scanned. Quality doesn't matter, we just need to see this per the contest rules, to see a new project for the contest and see it evolve from that! If you provide your name and project name, I will edit your thread title. Good Luck!

Using an Icelandic-like landscape. Working with a concept of stratification of rock layers, as well as the dynamics of glacial activity.

Re: pre-computer sketches

We still need your full name and a project name so that your thread follows the contest rules. I merged your two threads, from now on all of your updates go in this thread, you do not start a new thread for each update, instead this thread becomes your contest entry so to speak and by midnight GMT September 23 you must upload your final into the gallery and large format image to the FTP as explained in the contest rules. Good luck!

Re: full name, project name

I find this whole entry suspicious and am of mind to delete it. Please clarify your real full name and that this is a new piece by one person.

Re: first entry

Neha,
We are still learning my way around the site, so where do we make the name change so it is correct? Also, we are working as a team, so we can learn some new software and get better at rendering. Good luck with the competition.

Re: first entry

I will change the name of the thread, please post further updates in this thread if you decide to participate for fun, please read the follow sentence in regards to this. The contest is for individuals, no teams are allowed. Thanks for your honesty on the issue of team participation, however we have to stick by the rules. If you want you can submit updates, etc. and get feedback from the community, but a team entry is not qualified for consideration of final judging. We would love to have you participate and be part of the community, but as the rules state, this is to be a new piece by a single individual. Sorry, but I have to be fair to all the other contestants and stand by the rules.

Thanks again for supplying your name and project title, I will update the thread in case you decide to participate for fun and receive community critiques.
