Final Contest Entries

The final AW2 contest entries have been accepted. We had to not accept a few entries this year for not meeting all the guidlines, it was a case of 2/3 of the requirements not being met and we had to consider fairness to all contestants in the matter.

We would really like to emphasize that contest rules should be read and followed. We had someone here monitoring and helping out starting eight hours before the deadline and close to two hours after the deadline. We had stated that we would be help out and be somewhat flexible in numerous post and in the Q and A section stating that if contestants where having problems they should e-mail us so that we could help them out, we were here to find alternatives to any problems that may arise, but we can not help people meet the deadlines if they don't e-mail us and we definitely can't contact them if they have their account set up not to accept e-mails.

We also wanted to comment on how great the community was during the contest and the generous manner in which they helped each other out. Always makes us proud reflecting on the behaviour of our members of the community.

We had planned on putting up a poll on the entries for the communting to vote on as a sort of peoples choice, but due to the low amount of final entries we are not going to set up a separate poll, but instead ask that the community share their comments with the contestants in the gallery.
