Getting Rid of Autocad Educational Product Plot Stamp

Getting Rid of Autocad Educational Product Plot Stamp

Have you ever meet a client giving you a file done in an Educational Autocad Products. Once you copy even a single point, paste it to your drawing....and once you plot or print it you will see a plot stamp on all sides ....

I have a friend having this problem that he almost recreate all those sets drawings with a logo from his clients done in an educational autocad product...... Now to get rid of these do this very simple step.

resave the file to .DXF format and alasssss!!!.Exit your Autocad and open that dxf file. You can now print that drawing without that unnecessary plot stamp

Re: Getting Rid of Autocad Educational Product Plot Stamp

Thanks for sharing Ronel, I am always hesitant to post items like this because Autodesk has those watermarks for a reason, but since you are not modifying the original file only saving out in a different format and importing, I see no problem.

A lot of problems can be fixed in Acad as well by just drawing a window selection around what you want and saving out as a block, this perorms a purge of sorts and any objects out in the middle of space or currupted and can't be selected and hence causing problems will not be transfered into the new drawing.
