Hi, to all! - 3DAllusions

Well... for a start.. I'm delighted to be a part of these forums and the work here is fantastic!. I found it awhile back but things didn't seem to work... explorer crashed quickly when viewing the site.. but enough about that, I'm here now and it works great

I got started in all this computer stuff about 6 years ago.. looked into it in my spare time. then 2 years later I found a 3d app called 3DCanvasPro, well a demo of it. I played with that for another couple of years on and off.... then I had some spare time, so I had a good old go at the 3d stuff for a bit and that was the start of it... I'm now starting a 3 year college course Ireland, where I'm from.. in Bray, Wicklow, doing 3D Animation & Interactive Multi-Media. Before that I worked on a fishing boat for about 5 or 6 years.. and that was a good experiance... I packed that in to be with my family more and the dry land. I worked in the construction area then for about 4 or 5 years, on and off, and I really enjoyed that too. I've always been interested in design.. no matter what area.. and 3d is a perfect way to realize this.. so thatit... I'm here to stay now... whether as a hobby or as a job.
I love books.. though haven't read as much since realy getting into 3d. I love ancient history.. especialy Egyptian and all of South America and Religions around the world.

Looking forward to spending time here more often and posting some of my work.

Glad to have you 'PolyBuilder', your callsign reminds me of the term I coined from a member 'Coninuuumx', which is "PolySurgeon", nice AKA

Good to get to know you better, fishing boat, OUCH! that is hard work. I am sure your experience in construction will help you out in arch vis. We look forward to seeing your work and 'Welcome Aboard!'

PolyBuilder welcome abroad! i guess you also work using NURBS and not alays use poly ...LOL

wow! i also habe keen interest in ancient history and architecture. i also studied them for a long time as my hobby. i am not an architect but studied almost all forms and styles in the last couple of years. egyptian and south american civilization is what fascinates me most!

sure, would like see some work from you...
