Hi all!!

Just wanted to say hi to some of the most talented and friendly artists I have seen. I have been lurking here for a couple of days. Just reading the posts and admiring the beautiful renders.

My name is Donnie Bigers. I live in Western Ky. By day I am a Metrologist--no I dont forecast weather. Metrology is the science of measurement. I measure things basically. I work in Quality.

But my real passion has and always will be graphics. I dabbled a bit way back on the Amiga. Then in the mid-90's I started using Infini-D on the Mac. I soon graduated to Lightwave. I used it for several years before getting to my latest software, Carrara. I know it seems like a step backwards, but I enjoy Carrara and its workflow.

My freelance work consists of monthly spots for local tv advertisers. Mainly logo animations, but occasionally some arch-viz work. I freelance for a production studio near where I live.

Thats about it for me.

nice to know you more. its amazing how you cope with two completely different aspect of professions. it seems arch viz has been a long latent passions inside you. now you got the chance to explore it some more with us. would be waiting to see some of your work here
