Well Finally posted an avatar....been lurking around from time to time for a very long time. The avatar fits me just fine, if you don't like...I put it up just for YOU!!!!!! ROTFL
A little about me...
Studied Fine arts and Architecture at UWMilwaukee. Actually not a bad school for architecture, now. I was there in the early to mid 80's. Yup my life statistically is beyond half over.
Fast forward 20 years after working as a design-build contractor, residential and light commercial, I'm now a CG geek to everybody that's not

Freelance has been good to me for the most part, but still can and do "swing a mean hammer" to help pay the bills. Really it's the best of both worlds and probably why ArchViz is an area that I really do enjoy. Guess you can say I need to 'Build' to stay alive...but CG is a bit easier on the body
Been a member of the PixelCorps since the online beta in 2004. I can talk it up all day as I've grown as an artist to the nth degree having been involved in the community to date. I'd suggest everyone try it for a quarter, it's a paid membership

. Be forwarned there is no real magic there, no almighty Guru that will lead you to success....just a community that will and does smooth out some the bumps on the way. By exposure to an overwhelming array of CGVFX possibilites.
Hope to hang around here a bit more frequently. Love CGArchitect but it's getting a little boring over there as the site matures. Can't stand CGSociety, way to much BS and 'self' assumed greatness to wade through before finding the cool stuff.
Here's my site...nothing 'flash'y. Needs some updating...maybe soon.

Latest cool thing....
In between lots'o'stuff in my life right now. However was looking on craigslist for woodbutchery type stuff and frequently ping interior decorators (they are really fun to work with-extreme-always late, I enjoy the challenge). Found one here in Dallas that needed some work....long story made short....We shot the pilot episode yesterday of an interior design show for a french cable station. LOL She got a 'handyman' and CG guy for the price of one... Sometimes in life things do and cross over. Hopefully the show will get picked up. It was fun being able to talk with and really understand what the Camera man (a 30 year vet) was doing...not to mention just plain fun to do the work on the project.
could go on...that's enough
