A tip of my hat

I must have blinders on overlooking this. Or it's just because I'm an old codger. Ok, a bit about me. I'm an environmental geologist who tired of wearing space suits to work. Been in the land development/remediation business longer than most of the good folks here have even been alive. I've always been evious of those who produce the images that we all admire and am on that long road to hone my skills to grab that bottom rung of viz ladder. I've 3 grown childen, two sons (identical twins), and a daughter, and a ferrett who loves to steal my socks. We live in a home at the foot of the Colorado National Monument which causes me to loose countless hours gazing at the rock formations.

Without a doubt, your profile is interesting... but even more, it sounds a bit familiar... I think on some other forum I heard about environmental geologist... Is it coincidence or it was you... hmmm...
by the way, what software you use?

I lurk and sometimes offer what I can at the cgarchitect forum. I'm RodT there.
I use max 9 and vray 1.5, PS as a rank amature.

Well you have done more than lurk here, we appreciate it! Besides that, anyone who's initials are 'RLT' must be all right I envy your view, but living the the northwest, I have plenty to admire here as well. Good luck!

Well would have to go to the sidewalk to get anything nice, and it would be ocean But I will give you this one, my point was that even if you live somewhere great, it is easy to take it for granted with a busy daily life.

I will try to when the weather is a bit nicer, to tell the truth most of the time that I take pictures, it is of a great sky or urban backdrop for a rendering, I forget to take pictures of nature.
