Hello from sin city
Hello everyone.. a little about myself. I am from Las Vegas, NV and currently in the middle of changing careers. I was a computer tech for the last 20 years and after destroying my back and a recent major back surgery (4 weeks ago) I am back in school for residential design. As soon as i am able to drive again i am going to attempt to work in the CAD field. I have been spending the last few months learning 3ds max for arch visualization and even though its a very steep learning curve I am enjoying it more then the cad or anything else i have done recently. I look forward to meeting everyone here. Any other newbies like me feel free to email me and we can discuss how lost we are with this stuff haha

Welcome Aboard! There is an endless supply of free content on the Internet, and you can teach yourself everything you need to know for your new chosen career paths. The strength of forums is that you can ask people for help on specific topics, sort of like an army of tutors at your disposal.
