CG Artwork - Digital Showcase2D & 3D computer graphic images that don't fit within the other catagories. FINAL
Finally took some time off to do the colored version of my B/W render. C&C are welcome
PS...its looking too different in all the monitors in my office...am not very sure about the colors/brightness level because of that...if anybody has anything such as a color-perfect display, please let me know about the colors

Looks good on my monitor. Love the roughness, maybe if we could see some silt or moss gathering at the crackes, some green might add the right amount of color to the image

Re: Avant Garde in color
hi neha,
my first post here, so not sure bout the techincalities of making the post appear correctly... I have seen the b/w version, really loved it. In the colored version, the shades of brown that you have used look great, however as the allusionist suggested to have some silt or moss at the cracks... I was wondering if you could have very tiny little grass there and maybe one single wild flower (very tiny tiny again but significant enough, yellow or pink maybe) trying to bud out of that mostly monotonous image adding some metaphorical meaning as well... But it may take the realism of the image away if the flower gets too big, but i think at the hands of experts like you, it sure will blossom!

Re: Avant Garde in color
great job! the moss is adding a lot of character... (cant figure it how to get the smilies in... but I need to say Excellent!)... Although I think the flower could be tad bit bigger... As in right now it is not completely distinguishing itself from the surroundings moreover because its connection to its leaves is also not distinct...
Thanks Ya the stem was visible in the res I did the image...its not seen in this one...will put up a hires in my gallery later.
BTW for posting the smileys you have to click on the "go advanced" button and there you will find all the smileys. You can also type the usual keyboard shortcuts for them.
