In Abaaya.

hello there everyone, sharing a digitaly painted portrait, in artrage - tablet.
all from scratch (from memory and visualization).
inpsiration for this work, came from a charcoal sketch that i did, of one of my students. though its painted with expressive, unblended brushstrokes, but the composition, lighting and setting is very much done in a neo-classical manner. the model here, is in Abaaya and in a translucent veil, in a relaxing mood, turns her head slighty and makes an eye contact.
my goal was to capture that mood and moment, that stayed.

i painted this some time back but i like to share it here with u.

He was in his 'Blue Mood' phase Terrific work! I have to tell you that I love some traditional type works posted here, I always loved art, but didn't want to be a starving artist, now I find that maybe doing what you love and 'starving' might not be so bad. Of course I am not refering to you when I say 'starving artist' it is just a term we use in the states. Thanks for sharing your work.

kiitteam, thats a big compliment mate...regarding the color, frankly speaking its more like the mood and the surroundings that i like and colors are all depenent on that, u know, like adjacent colors and stuff....]
