CG Artwork - Digital Showcase2D & 3D computer graphic images that don't fit within the other catagories. FINAL
hi there, let me share one of my recently painted works. inpiration for this, came from a chameleon, that i saw in my garden, while watering plants....
i didnt paint the exact thing, but it just gave me a subject/an idea. later, i did study few refs of lizards of all sorts to paint one and thats about it, what u are seeing here is all painted from scratch. i came up with this particular look of it that i wanted to have....
along with that, i introduced a touch of drama/tradedy, by painting an innocent looking ladybird, totally unaware of the approaching, crawling danger.
i visualized the composition and mood and painted this in artrage, using tablet.
Great! Reminded me of almost forgotten beauty of painting!
Thanks for sharing your great work and keep posting.
Perhaps a bit more on your way of work, a bit step by step -making of- tour would be nice to see...
Hey, nice painting. But I think, it needs little bit finishing touch.

many thanks russell, d.sign, kiittea, neil and neha for looking in and for all your kind comments....
d.sign...as russell has mentioned, sure, im about to post a "making of / walkthrough", soon, in the tutorial section here. ill be posting 2 of them.
kiittea, this one took about 5 to 6 hours in total to complete, worked 3 days on and off. i usually finish a painting in less time. but again, this all depends on the requirements and on the kind of result thats needed.
neil, yea i know what u mean, but as its done in a particular manner, major parts are just deliberately suggested, according to the need, focus and composition. i didnt want other stuff, like the background greenery to get attention....
