Accidental Artist

Hi guys, just wanted to share my latest hobby. i was playng with corel painter IX, then suddenly I realized a had a concept.. here's two of my first tries.. bluehills wallpaper I copied form windows and my original concept "Red China". the idea behind red china was when Genghis Khan scaled the great wall. hope you like them.

Bokkins, great to see you playing with Painter. My comment would be that after you explain what it is about I can make it out, but I don't think I would ever make that connection. Great to see you having some fun, I would think it would be fun to play with the "Red China" by adding lighter and darker reds to give it light and shadow, you can keep in a monotone one color scheme still, just add more detail, or implied detail with some contrast. Just my thoughts on it, cool to see work outside of CG

Hey Corel Painter is one of my favorite software. Sometimes I also used to play with it. Good to see your painter works here. I think few more vatiation would be more attractive. Looking forward to see more paintings from you
