Well you're good, in that you're using Truespace to model in. I never really went beyond the basic primitives in tS because I'm a newbie and I've got my door in place-- X out tS knowing I won't struggle so hard in Wings3d. The head n bod's lookin good so far.

Good Luck in Wings
Good luck in Wings, I might add a new version of Bender has been released, a lot of people like it and it is free. Wings is getting quite a following for a little app also, does it have FBX compatibility now? I just bought Kaydara MotionBuilder so it is of some interest to me.
Well if you could registar, it would be great to help get the user base up, I am trying to get my site all revised and add some content before I go public, but I could use all the help I can!
Take Care my Friend

Well, I checked into it and there is a beta veriosn of a FBX plugin at the official page:
http://www.wings3d.com/
TheActual Link is:
http://homepage.mac.com/bjorngustavs...gin/index.html
What FBX is, is quickly becoming the industry standard for motion capture and character animation file format. It was origianally part of the Filmbox program which has evoled into Kaydara's MotionBuilder, a program specifically for doing animation and most the majore applications support it either hardwired or through a plugin. I am no master at the program, but it seems to be quite extrodinairy and I will post more once I am more familiar with it.

Silo
Yes, I saw when it first came out, some reviews said it had promise but was not fully featured yet. I want to get a program that will do architecural renderings well and character modeling animation. I have TS, but the render engine is getting long in the tooth and I am tired of my final image not being the quality that others are producing, hey it couldn't be me! LOL Well, I dabble in a lot of genre's and have mastered none, I have too many interest. Just want to find one great program and master it and not have to to from program to program for different project types. I just got Kaydara MotionBuilder for character animation and haven't had enough time to do more than watch some of the video tutorials, it is a great animation program that interfaces with the major programs.
3DTotal has a character contest right now that is giving away a BOX workstation, I would like to enter and have a concept, but I just don't have the time.
I recently participated in the AlienWare contest (Winner gets an AlienWare workstation, sounds like I want a new computer, don't it! LOL) at CGtalk and am waiting for the winners. Of course I don't think I have a chance, but you learn a lot from competing with the big boys. That is what I hope to get going here. Some really talented artist to learn from that work in the project type I do.
