Character Creation - The Body ShopCharacter development forum for users to post and recieve critiques! WIP's
been a long time since I last posted here.. figured I should stop lurking and go ahead and post. This isn't much of an update, but it's the last time I worked on this.. just a screenshot after trying a SSS tutorial on the face texture (I paint awful textures). I painted the hair and eyebrows.
Since then this has been scrapped.
When I exported a posed version from Poser n imported into tS I found that there's a duplicate mesh hiding inside. That came about when I had to go a certain route so Poser would stop messing with my groups leaving floating polys and holes in the mesh whenever I move something. That was just aggravating.. trying to edit 2 layers of mesh is just as bad.
oops.. no eyelashes

I remember this piece, if memory serves me right you were modeling it in some other program? Did you convert it to poser for more work and then out again? Or is my memory failing and thinking of another project? She is looking good by the way, eye lashes would be even better, but are difficult Nice work!

started this a while ago.. there are areas that needs to be tweaked still before continuing on with the kneecaps n so on. The topology is a mix of some wires I had seen on cgtalk by different ppl, like stahlberg n kryoboy, and some of my own thing.

oh hey there! .. yea, this was done in wings3d. Exported an obj for uvmapper, n from there it went to poser to be rigged. Your memory is pretty good. I still remember getting a comment that I didn't define her eyelids coz he was under the impression she was european or something. hehe
Thanks for taking a look tho

you said what ya meant just fine.. and you're right. The width between the eyes is a bit more than 1 eye wide... I had left it this way because I thought it looked better. There's a lot of proportional mistakes with this 1.
I took a look at your diningroom for charrette #3... that's some really impressive modeling. Amazing stuff to me.

Hey buddy, I merged all your threads for this project into one just to keep things simplified. Looking good, having the characters proportions not classical actually give the character, character! LOL Lets see her finished
