Heyyas

Sorry Designer and Allusionist.. it's been a while since I've posted here.
I haven't come across any problems with the n-gons above the nose. Not yet anyway. I pulled the inner eyebrow area closer in an experiment to give some sort of expression there.. it isn't perfect tho.

The shoulder/arm pit area took a LOT of time. When I loaded my obj. file into tS I came across some holes and I didn't much like how it looked after flipping the faces. But using the LUUV plug-in to import my obj. file seemed to get around that problem.. so far anyway.

Lately I've been trying out the bones for the first time. She still doesn't have legs or hands... or wrists yet. It isn't shown in this screenshot, but she has a bone sticking out of her arm. It was an earlier attempt. Had done a better job of it later on, but now when I try to move an arm it moves the whole body away from the neck as if it isn't attached anymore.
I don't know what happened coz it was all attached at one time.

TS Bones

Looking good. TS Bones are pretty much only good for posing a character, animation is a real pain in the arse. If you are using TS 6 or above and having trouble with the mesh and skeleton interaction try it in TS 5 if you have it. Caligarie changed there physics engine in 6 and that also adjusted the coordinate system and some other things, I have found that 5 was more reliable for animating via bones for stability. Of course 6 had a lot of animation enhancements, but known had to do with bones. FWIW.

Keep us posted on your work

model looks great ... has a young girl look.

I would recommend MotionStudio. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do, you won't go back!

Looking Good!

She looks good so far, have you finished her yet and if so, do you have her in any poses? It would be great to see her finished and fully textured.
