Re: Charrette #11 - Modern House Part One - Exterior
Looks good mike.hahn, think Branko covered it, all I could think of is in a rustic setting if some of the materials were not so prestine, but it looks real good.

Re: Charrette #11 - Modern House Part One - Exterior
@Rod: I don't mind the leading edge of the building being in the middle, but how about a square format and a slightly tighter crop? The areas to the left and right don't seem to be adding much.
Just some thoughts!

Re: Charrette #11 - Modern House Part One - Exterior
I'll revisit the close up shot, thanks for all of your comments.
Here is a distant shot with the same lighting, hdr and a couple of vray lights in the interior. No post production, max.

Re: Charrette #11 - Modern House Part One - Exterior
hey guys!
save me a spot into this...just read the rules and got the model that Branko gently posted...
will start looking into it and get onboard...
it's a pleasure to be back and see awesome 3d artwork...
laters
here a first attempt on the whole possible concept...just figuring out standard materials from scratch

Re: Charrette #11 - Modern House Part One - Exterior
These aren't really indicative of the views i'm going to go for - just quick tests as I work on materials. The lighting will change to a HDR dome light, its a vraysun at the mo. Thought I better post something as an incentive to making sure I finish it!

Paguthrie,
Looking good so far, I really like the tall grass, great stuff. Is that Maxwell and displacements or the new proxy system, or............ question is how did you do the grass?
