d.sign, Blender also support to render a soften shadows by change shadow parameter of the light. But it's increase render time and I not so patient to wait for that.

Raytonium, very nice render. i like the lighting condition you created, that sorts of reminds me of most romantic moments, having some moonlit wash my legs. the set is more perfective with the vintage winne bottle on a very aristocratic table. nice sofa, too.
Me, looking nice. may be you have to work some more on the light. may add some variation or may be some more colors in the more darker portion of the room. good shaders.

Hey Raytonium,
I hope you are not in Marin County, it is all under water from what I see in the news. I am south of SF and the net connection was out all day, but we didn't get any rain.

Nah, I'm in the foothills, east of Chico. But I see Sacramento is flooding as well.
Here's a daytime version.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Nice work here, guys...
Raytonium - daytime version is great too! Grean wall is lovely...
I hope the weather there will get better soon...
Shr1k - second image I like most... some work on materials and it will be quite nice... perhaps reduce the reflections on the floor and put some lighter color on the sofa... Light level is fine, I think...

shr1k, i like the second one. there is too much white spot in the other two renders. you can reduce the overcast light by placing some negative lights in the scene. do you something called negative light in Blender? in 3ds max it takes out light from the scene and allows better control over the lighting.
Raytonium, yes, i hope the weather is going to be just fine very soon. another cool render. like the painting on the walls. they are perfect match with the wall color.
