I think I need a light pointing up so its not so dark at the top.

Shr1k, are you using yafray?
Nice render Remco_t! Man&mouse, Nice render view at maximum monitor contrast setting  . I'm waiting for update. (ps: your site full with great vrml scenes  )

the night sceene was yafray the rest are blender renders. I am runing a yafray render right now and will post it tomorow if it comes out good. I think it may take some time. the last render I posted took about 25 min. yafray may take hours.

Shr1k, I never have a good result with yafray, and it's also very slow.

remco_t, fantastic scene. the curtains and tilted camera angles adds so much drama and mood to it, it's amazing. like the scene very much. and also thanks for your explanation on the shaders.

shr1k, looking better. is yafray also possess good gi solution like vray? or is still in beta?

Hi, everyone
I skiped one day and already so much going on here... Remco_t - it is realy great! Very creative, imaginative, you transformed one simple scene in the story! I can't wait to see more! Man&Mouse - Interesting stuff! I love the second version. I was hoping that this chellenge will become cretive impulse to people, not just way to show off rendering skills... Welcome and keep us posted Shr1k- It is realy good image. Light is fine. What you need is not more light but one fill light in the center of the room with just ambient component, very low intensity ( I know it is possible in Max, do not know about blender and Yafrai)...
