Charrette #4 - Christmass/New Year challenge - rendering and texturing a living room

I think I am done with this room for now I found myself watching HGTV for color ideas. any way I used Blender render and Gimp first time I tried DOF with Gimp I just wanted this to be intresting not real looking. Im off to make some space ships or monsters.
the dark one is the untouched render took about 20 min
I cant seem to upload to this site?

If you go to advanced editor, there below the text box are additional options, on of which is a button for managing attachements, there you can select a file/image 800x600 max I believe to upload to the forums, you can come back later and remove or update as you wish! Hope that helps.

Extraterroide, nice render with the scene. i like the floor texture and the way it's reflecting. the warm lighting is great! the red vase in the middle of the scene adding more drama. overall good work,

Extraterroide, very nice image! Just have to agree with a remark Russel made though, about the bump on the leather. It seems a bit unreal to me. The rest is excellent!

Extraterroide - great render, just the dark color on the chairs is too dark for object so close to the light source...
Russel - quite nice mood you got there with maxwell. Just that grain...
Shr1k - I love your last work. Darker is realy nice! Lovely atmosphere, good lightning and colors... Please come back again on this chellenge...

Pretty cool, it does look like the pictures are leaning away from the wall or floating, but otherwise it is pretty cool!
