Charrette #7 - Bathroom challenge

Hi, We are back with another challege. We are thankful to all our existing members and new members who took out their time and interest to participate in the challenge. We enjoyed some stunning renders, all unique.

Rules and criteria:
1. The basic shape of the room should remain the same.
2. The basic elements to be unchanged. However, decorative items can added into the scene, for example curtain can be changed, objects on the self can be changed, indoor plants can be added ...etc...
3. POV/camera angle - This is upto the artist to choose.
4. Artists are free to choose color schemes as per their choice.
5. Deadline for the challenge would be disscussed latter, but it should be within the 2 months.
6. the awards will be disscussed latter also, but should be some of the content that we will prepare for you, models or textures or simillar... and probably some more surprise...

Admin Notes:

1.) All credit for the model should go to Pradipta Seth when posting images using the model off site.

2.) The scene remains the property of the original artist and credit to the original artist must be included with any rendered output posted outside the site. In addition the original artist and 3DAllusions for the purpose of the challenge are the only parties authorized to distribute said material without the consent of the original artist. If you do not agree to these terms do not download the afore mentioned material.

3) You are free to post the renders other sites and forums , we expect you to put a link to this site. Thanks

I am uploading four different fornats. Others willl be uploaded soon. I would also request other artist to put up some more formats if possible.

We hope this new challenge will be another sucess and we are looking forward inseeing some exciting renders. So get started now...

Challenges are intended for fun and though we try to get prizes for them, the main emphasis is on sharing your interpretation of the scene. We put them up since people seem to enjoy them and do not have sponsors set up ahead of time so prizes are a bonus. Just wanted to state this since we don't always know what we will come up with in the end

This is great Pradipta, very nice and detailed scene. I hope to try on this one for the holidays... I would just ask you if you could post some textured renders if you have them, just as reference. Thanks for the scene and the challenge!

Wow...the scene looks great and has a lot of potential as a challenge. People can play around with it to achieve a look from ethnic to a modern. I am very excited to see how the various renders turn out.

I am not concerned about prizes. Its ok with me either way. I think it is good enough that Pradipta shared the scene and 3DAllusions hosts it.

That way the rest of us get a chance to get some experience and experiment with these type of renderings. Of course, I dont think I will be winning any challenges here anytime soon, so it doesnt matter to me if there arent prizes. Looking over the past challenges there are many talented users here, but I can learn a lot in the process. For that I am thankful.

Hi Pradipta. I realise there are always conversion issues, but I wanted to let you know that the 3ds file has some weird things going on with the backfaces. In Lightwave and Carrara both, many of the walls dont show up.

Thankfully I can import DWG with Carrara and that one came in fine. Thanks again for sharing with us.

As I get some time, I will try to do some more conversions, we have had no power around here a lot lately so I haven't had much up time on the computer
