Hi everyone

After some time we are back with brand new challenge!
This time we put up some effort to build the complete house scene along with most of the furniture inside, that we were able to reconstruct based on reference material we had.
Our new challenge is to texture and render Casa Quinta by architect Marcio Kogan and his Studio MK27 from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

We owe special thanks to architect himself and Studio MK27, especially arch. Mariana Simas for providing us with thorough reference material, drawings and photos.

Rules and criteria

1- For the first stage of this challenge contestants should make at least 2 shots with different POV-s of their choice.
You will find that this scene have a lot of potential for making large number of great shots.
However this does not mean that you must texture and fully work out entire scene. The house itself consists of three parts, each of them is whole on its own, so you may optimize your efforts...
- Original geometry of the house should be preserved, participant should not change the walls, windows and other structural elements of the house. However, you can change equipment, furniture and materials, add details and so on, same as in our previous challenges.
2- Contestants should post at least 1 WIP shot for each POV during the challenge and should comment on others work
3- Deadline will be after two and a half months from now, that is Extended to Tuesday, September 15th!
4- Judging, as always, will be conducted by 3dallusions team. Criteria for judging are based on overall accepted standards in CG - composition, lighting, materials and texturing, mood and drama conceived in the image, other misc. qualities such as original approach etc...
5- By downloading and/or using these files you agree to:
a.) All credit for the materials provided should go to the author of the model and '3DAllusions' when posting images off site.
b.) You are free to post the renders to other sites and forums, but you must link to this site/challenge thread.
c.) You are free to use renderings for your personal portfolio with appropriate credit to author and 3dallusions site...
6- All contestants must provide reliable contact information in their profile, if information provided does not allow us to contact you easily then placement and prizes will be adjusted accordingly to the next ranked entry.

I will put in the rules that all contestants will have a valid email address in their account, they may choose not to accept emails, but I need to be able to go into the back end and find useable contact information. I have stated this before and people don't listen and I have no way of contacting some of the winners and it sours the experience for us and the sponsors to deal with.

So from now on if the contact information for a winner doesn't work, we will shift places down accordingly and distrubute prizes based on placement and useable contact information. Sorry, but this issue has become a major pain in my "arse" and caused long delays and lots of work on our part.
