images stolen from my site - 3DAllusions

i came across this site http://www.rendertime.co.uk which has displayed my exterior images on his site without any prior permission or notification... do advise me on what to do next ... see the screenshot

It really disturbs me that people steal images for their portfolio. Cheaters never win - learned that in grade school. Try contacting them and demand that they take down the images. You can also call them and say nasty things.

Hard to get your right the official way I guess.

Answer his dirty work with a dirty action. Tell everybody on every CG forum you know of he is stealing work from others. Other renderartists sure want to know this, he could as well have stolen work from others to use on his site.

He will see this too because he uses those forums to harvest from. I'm sure he can't use this type of bad advertising. Fastest way to solve this IMO....

I would make sure to post this at CG Architect and Evermotion, the communities there really go after these type of scoundrels, see this thread:

Get enough exposure on the guy and at least his name will get a bad reputation.

Really sorry to hear this, kind of happens all the time, you should see how many guys are offering up Branko's interior model, that he donated for a challenge here, acting like it is their's and even starting the exact same challenge at other sites. Sad really. Feel free to post any follow up post here and use terms like "Renertime steals work", so the search engines pick it up

That is exactly what I mean Russel. A good example of how it can work. That guy is finished in the 3Dworld. Thanks to his own stupid actions.

this is very very sad, how some guy steal others project and display on their own site. there is nothing we can basically do to stop this nuisance rather than as Russell mention put his name in CGArchitect and Evermotion as a cheater. that will be the best way send across the message to him. but, immediatly send a mail to that guy commanding him to take down that imge from his portfolio. i hope he will understand that.
people sometim eforget, its a very small world and when do such thing you can easily get caught. it happened so many times also.

well guys the person , whom i knew for a long time , by only his nick ,,, i did not know his name ... put up an apology at cgarchitect and removed it saying he did not know it was mine... so very shocking ... thanks for your support

OT That is what I find personally disturbing in many (CG) forums. People are only known by their nick. Who are all these people that do not come forward with their own name??

I hope I do not stand on too many long toes here...
